Dear Colleagues,

"Aging" is a natural and obligatory process of the life span, just like childhood, adolescence and adulthood. As a result of the decrease in the mortality rates and the new developments in the medical care, the life expectancy is increased considerably in the last twenty years.

The most important factor for the aged individual, who is a very important member of the society is "Healthy Aging", in order to have an active and successful life.

The evaluation, treatment and improvement of the "Quality of Life" of elderly can only be performed by the collaboration of all the specialities in medicine
